Inspired by Roman design and the archaic shape of the goblet, the Facet collection is a nod to the feast and the table dressed accordingly. Designed by Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze of Studio0405 using as few gestures as possible, it brings the scene down to earth and into the present. Facet’s form may be humble, but the way it is made is artisanal. Mouth-blown in the Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, is as practical as it is ethereal.
